Hotel Barfly was hatched at a hotel bar of all places. The team enjoyed meeting at hotel bars as a place to unwind and hang out. The idea was born when someone made the statement ” aren’t there more people like us that love hanging out at hotel bars and shouldn’t there be a site tailored to this group?”. When we discussed the concept with friends it was clear people wanted to join a community like this and would love to have a place where they could learn and share info about great, or sometimes not great, hotel bars.

The team is based in Chicago and consists of tech, media, and design entrepreneurs.

Our dream is to walk into hotel bars around the world and connect with cool people like you.
